After discovering my camp site for the night of 5-22-11 on the Louisiana and Texas border was closed I pushed forward to my backup location only to discover that didn't pan out. I was seriously ready to give up and call it quits at this point. My mother directed me to a recreational area in Louisiana where I spent a troubled night, but met a great couple. Still I was mentally exhausted and in a bad way.
